I received this invitation to purchase a years subscription from Reader Digest and to be entered into the National Sweepstakes for a grand price of $500,000.00. Has anybody else ever done that? Has anybody ever won? Do you know of anybody who did win? I would like to find out what the odds are or how credible this is.

It's like the Publisher's Clearing House. people win, but no one you know and certainly not you

Reply:I have entered the Publishing Clearance Sweepstakes all the time always make it to the final level but have yet to see one dollar. I dont know anybody who has ever won anything.
Reply:I've entered, and entered, and entered.....they tell you that you made it to the Semi final round, the final round and that's where you sort of stay, just keep getting these things to fill out and either send in or complete on line. So far I've won zip...just like the Pub Clearing House...but someone did win that on our street a few years ago. So at least someone is giving away something.
I never sign up for any of the 'subscriptions' or such...maybe that's why I keep getting these repetitive entry notices over and over again :) Just got one the other day in which I've been a supposed finalist for 3 entry forms ago now. Draw --supposedly Mar 31...right!
