Have you entered in for a sweepstakes for a car at a mall?

During christmas shopping, I walked into the serremonte mall and they have a car in display for everyone to sign their name in for a drawing to win the car, They called to tell you, that u did not win the car, but you won other gift prizes, but they ask u do u make more then 40 thousand a year, and if u dnt make more than that u r not elgible for any prizes, and the guys just hangs up, What do u think about this?,

Most of these are time share sales. You must make a certain amount of money or you wouldn't qualify to purchase the time share slot anyway so they don't want to talk to you. If you do make enough money, you will have to go out and listen to a time share presentation (about 1 1/2 to 2 hours) in order to claim your prize. They really do have prizes and can afford to give them away because they make so much money and they hire the hardest, slickest salespeople in the market so they know that a lot of people who come out will buy.

Reply:Scam. They generally gather all your information simply to sell it to other companies that do telemarketing. If you want telemarketing calls all night, sign up for the free car, if you want peace and quiet, keep walking on by. Scam, scam, scam.
