I would like to know if sweepstakes clearinghouse is a legimate business? and if not how would i get refunded
Sounds like you are having some troubles with something you paid for. A clearinghouse is a way of soliciting you with the offer that you may win a large prize. In order to enter though you must make a purchase. Usually magazines or something similar. I've never had any problems receving something I have bought like that. Check out www.bbb.org to look up the business you are inquiring about though. good luck!
Reply:If any sweepstakes requires you to pay a fee to collect your "winnings" then you haven't won anything, you are being scammed. Since you ask about getting refunded, I assume something like that happened. If you could find them you might be able to sue them or press charges - but the likelihood of finding them is about zero.
