That depends on what you mean by "really work" and "rip off".





The reason for the sweepstakes is to increase business. That really works very well.





The odds of winning as remarkably small, which may make it seem like a rip off, but I believe it is an honest sweepstakes and the prizes are actually awarded. Since the company does not charge for entering the sweepstakes it is legal, so if by a rip off you mean illegal, theft or deception, it is not a rip off.

PCH also has a games area, PCHGames.com, that lets you enter sweepstakes with greater odds of winning than the larger sweepstakes. The prizes are smaller dollar amounts, but you can enter multiple times based on how many games you play so it's a good way to increase your odds. Report Abuse
