I've actually one first prize from a Budweiser sweepstakes. They send the notification by FedEx so you have to sign for it for recordkeeping purposes. They also claim the winnings for tax purposes, so they make sure there's a paper trail.
How do you find if you are a sweepstakes winner?
Let me guess-- you received an e-mail that says you are a sweepstakes winner. It's a scam; I get several of these each day.
Reply:You didnt say if you got an email or what you are refering to. If you did get an email that said you were a winner of something and you know you didnt enter in it, for sure is a scam. Because if you entered into a sweepstake generally they will take your address and phone number to contact you if you won anything,
Reply:Call the number! Duh! If there's no number, it's probably not legit.
