Do you think people really win the publishers clearing house sweepstakes?

I would really like to know if these people are actors or if you really have a chance of winning this game.

Do you think people really win the publishers clearing house sweepstakes?
Yes, real people do win...They have to or else PCH would be sued for fraud.
Reply:In the fantasy world of Ed McMahon, yes. In our world, uh, nope.
Reply:I've been waiting on the prize patrol for the past three years! It's just a way to get you to buy those damn magazines and other stupid junk they advertise in those packets.
Reply:No, its still a scam. I've gotten one of these and it says it's even been on tv. They just say you win, it's still a big scam!
Reply:not unless they are related somehow
Reply:no
Reply:I'm sure that people do win the publisher's clearing house sweepstakes because they would be in trouble if it were a scam. However, your chance of winning is probably 1 in a hundred million or more. They just want you to buy magazines and things that you don't really need. I hate to buy anything from them because the postage often costs more that the item you could buy somewhere else.
Reply:I really have know idea but the people on their commercial were so convincing that I went and signed up. Try and sign up its worth a shot. It's not like you're paying for a chance to win.
Reply:I think its a scam.
Reply:I dont think so
Reply:this is such a good question. my husband has been participating in publisher's clearinghouse for years. he has never won anything, just keeps getting lots of letters and buying things from them, such as magazine subscriptions, coins, etc. i would compare it to playing the lottery. 1 in a million might win, but then again, if you don't participate, you definitely won't win. chances are horribly slim, but as long as you realize this, it might be fun as long as you don't risk any money.

Reply:It's a scam... They ask that you subsribe to mags and other sorts of stuff you know stuff that you don't need or use... This is how they get those millons they supposidly give away but were so stupid that we give into it so some lucky one feeds on those subscriptions, We as dummies pay for it and that lucky one is sitting high and pretty.... By the way nothing is free... We all pay at the end... THINK ABOUT IT... YOU'RE PAYING RIGHT NOW.
