I don't know if you really have won a lottery, but:

it may be fake. To test it to see if it is fake:

To see if it is fake, copy the whole email address it was sent from, then go to google.com and do a search for that email address (paste it into the google.com search box). That email address may be on a site that reveals emails of "scammers". You can do that also for any email address they give to contact them by.

More on the sender address of the email: even if the sender email address shows it is from a government website, scammers can do that: scammers can make email addresses that look really real, I have read somewhere.

-------------------

Also, if you send info to them, they may use that info to steal your money? But that's if you really never won a lottery. I don't know if it is the real thing or a scam.
Reply:to win the Irish sweeps, you have to have bought tickets.

got your receipt from buying them?

samspade.org still maintains an ISP lookup service. open the "full headers" from any email you've received and paste the address [in either xxx.yyy or IP address format] into the box that samspade provides and it'll do a search to find what that address is, who owns it, and where that owner is.

just in case you're a real winner, that's about 3 million USD and it will put you into the highest US tax bracket. feel free to check the tax tables in the instructions for Form 1040 to estimate the tax. [at irs.gov]

your state and/or city may also want income taxes.
Reply:1,500,000 Euro = 2,218,995 US Dollar

Thats alot of money to bad it is a scam if you didn't play the london lottery how could you win it. You might want to check that out.
